Entry into venue terms and conditions

25-Feb-2011 It is important you familiarise yourself with the following terms and conditions before you enter the venue tomorrow. Please note; random bag searches will be conducted at the gate.

HELP PROTECT STROMLO FOREST PARK:

- Respect all flora and fauna, geological, heritage and conservation sites.

- Use the facilities in a safe manner with appropriate personal protective equipment worn.

- Respect and be considerate of other users. Respect and be considerate towards horses.

- Gates are to be left closed or as found, stock are not to be disturbed.

- Users must comply with signage and management directions.

- Vehicles are not permitted to be driven off road unless approved.

- The lighting of fires is not permitted.

- No motorised activities permitted, including remote controlled devices.

- Mountain Bikes must only be ridden on approved trails, which have been mapped out by venue management.

- Work on or the construction of new trails or jumps is prohibited without prior written approval by the venue management.

- Users are to remain on the trails provided; no new trails are permitted without approval by the venue management.

- Children must be supervised at all times by an accompanying adult.

- Persons who behave in a disorderly or inappropriate manner will be required to leave the Park.

- Users must comply with traffic and parking signage.

- Help us protect and conserve the natural environment, native animals & plants at this Park. Noise causing environmental harm is not permitted pursuant to the Environment Protection Regulations 2005.

- Any commercial activity must be approved by the venue management.

 

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN STROMLO FOREST PARK:

- Explosive devices, Flares/Fireworks.

- Spray cans.

- Knives or any other dangerous weapons.

- Recording devices (for commercial purposes, unless approved by Venue Management.

- Any commercial activity must be approved by the venue management

 

GENERAL WARNING & EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

Sporting activities at Stromlo Forest Park maybe dangerous and may result in injury or death to the person &/or property loss or damage. Users participating and spectators viewing these activities do so at their own risk.

To the extent permitted by law, the Australian Capital Territory excludes all liability, including but not limited to liability for personal injury, death, property damage, property loss, and consequential loss or damage of any kind arising from the use of &/or entry to Stromlo Forest Park, whether in contract, by negligent act or omission, or any other tortuous action.
